The Santa Claus that most of us are familiar with was designed by illustrator Haddon Sundblom for Coca Cola™ in 1934. So successful was this advertising campaign that we now had difficulty accepting any other type of Santa.
These Santas are more of a European "Saint Nicholas" style. I spend a lot of time on the faces of these little fellows, giving them character that isn't easily copied.
