This angel hangs on a wall in my dining room. Her eyes are closed only because I wasn't good at carving eyes at the time. But I suppose it does add some interest to the piece.
The carving is in basswood, which is not a very pretty medium, so I applied acrylic paints and an antiquing solution to give the material some interest.
